Karaoke Microphones

Karaoke ms are generally wireless and used for the popular Japanese sing-along pastime. Some complex units have thousands of songs built in as well as recording capabilities.  Fancy ones even have a “do not suck” button on the side, but they’re hard to find.

Most karaoke mics are dynamic with foam pop filters on the grill (top).  Another quality of karaoke microphones is their versatility.  Mics are kind of like toothbrushes, and can be a very personal tool fitted just right for the performer’s voice and singing style.  But karaoke mics never know what they’re going to get.  Is it a small Asian girl whispering 2Pac lyrics, or a 400-pound man-beast doing a screamo rendition of I Will Always Love You?  Either way, the karaoke mic is ready to unveil the singer in all of us.
